Welcome

Gospel music has always been a large part of Laura Sue's life. The granddaughter of celebrated Gospel composer Mosie Lister (whose songs have been recorded by Elvis, Loretta Lynn, Alison Krauss, Gaither Vocal Band, The Statesmen Quartet, and many others), Laura Sue grew up understanding that music was meant to bring people into God's presence. Recognizing that music, for the Christian, is so much more than just being on stage and performing, and then feeling called to minister through music, she began singing in her church in Naples, FL, where her father was the music minister. She has served on the music staff at several large Southern Baptist Churches in various capacities, and earned her degree in music from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, in 2005.

Following God's leading, she moved to Nashville to continue in gospel music and to support her husband, Andrew, who was beginning seminary. Shortly after relocating to Nashville, Laura Sue founded the gospel female trio "Providence Road". After spending the last two years working on the group and gaining experience as a studio singer, Laura Sue is now focusing on spending more time with Andrew and her church family, and recently completed her first solo CD, which features several of her mother's songs (Barbara Lister Williams - daughter of Mosie Lister) and some that Laura Sue co-wrote as well. She is enjoying being at home more, and still accepts some solo concert dates. Laura Sue is also available for studio sessions.
